Chapter 1: General Provisions
#

Article 1: Name
#

This association is named Chinese AI Application Development Association, abbreviated as CAIADA (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”).

Article 2: Nature and Purpose
#

The Association is a legally established, non-profit public interest organization with the purpose of “promoting artificial intelligence technology development and industrial applications, driving sustainable growth of intelligent society”.

Article 3: Tasks
#

The Association’s tasks are as follows, implemented in accordance with relevant laws and regulations:

1. Technology R&D and Promotion

  • AI core technology research and cross-domain application promotion

2. Industry Integration and International Cooperation

  • AI industry cross-domain integration and international cooperation exchange

3. Knowledge Dissemination and Sharing

  • AI application-oriented journal publication and industry knowledge sharing

4. Talent Development

  • AI technology talent cultivation and education promotion

5. Policy Recommendations

  • Government AI policy recommendations and industry white paper compilation

6. Digital Divide Reduction

  • Implementation of urban-rural and generational AI digital divide reduction programs

7. Member Services

  • Member rights protection and industry information integration platform operation

8. Talent Discovery

  • AI technology competitions and talent discovery systems

9. Cross-Strait Exchange

  • Cross-strait AI technology exchange and industry cooperation promotion

Chapter 2: Members, Directors and Supervisors

Article 7: Member Categories
#

The Association’s member categories and fees are as follows:

Individual Members
#

  • Qualifications: Those who agree with the Association’s purpose and have 2+ years of AI-related practical experience (or passionate interest)
  • Application Process: Submit membership application form, reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors, and pay membership fees
  • Fees:
    • Admission Fee: NT$ 200 (paid upon joining)
    • Annual Fee: NT$ 200

Corporate Members

  • Qualifications: Organizations or groups that agree with the Association’s purpose
  • Application Process: Submit membership application form, reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors, and pay membership fees
  • Rights: Corporate members designate 1 representative to exercise membership rights
  • Fees:
    • Admission Fee: NT$ 5,000 (paid upon joining)
    • Annual Fee: NT$ 5,000

Sponsoring Members

  • Qualifications: Individuals or groups that agree with the Association’s purpose and sponsor the Association’s funds or resources
  • Application Process: Submit membership application form, reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors

Article 8: Member Rights
#

  • Full Rights Members: Members (member representatives) have voting rights, election rights, eligibility to be elected, and recall rights
  • Rights Unit: Each member (member representative) counts as one vote
  • Restriction: Sponsoring members do not have the above rights

Article 9: Term of Office
#

The Association’s directors and supervisors serve terms of 4 years.

Article 10: Board of Directors Structure
#

The Association has 9 directors (including 2 executive directors, one of whom is the Chairman) and 1 alternate director.

  • Executive Directors: Elected by all directors
  • Chairman: Elected by all directors from among the executive directors

Article 11: Board of Supervisors Structure
#

The Association has 3 supervisors (including 1 executive supervisor) and 1 alternate supervisor.

  • Executive Supervisor: Elected by supervisors
  • Duties: Supervises daily association affairs and serves as the Supervisory Committee Chairman

Charter Validity
#

This charter takes effect after approval and registration by the Ministry of the Interior, and the same applies to amendments. Matters not covered in this charter shall be handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
